Solutions by Compacting Process
Our compacting solutions
How do you choose between the different types of compaction technologies available on the market? Based on work habits or past experiences? Easier availability depending on location? At Kadant PAAL, we manufacture all types of balers, so the solution we offer is tailored to your needs. Our proposal is designed to enable you to achieve the best performance, the best return on investment, and the lowest operating costs. See our process-based options below.

Channel Baler
A continuous feed channel baler is a fully automatic horizontal baling press designed for high-volume processing of materials allowing for uninterrupted, high-throughput production of dense & stable bales. The length of the bales can be adjusted according to the defined parameters. The bale can be automatically tied horizontally, vertically, or crosswise. The number of wires varies according to the chosen channel baler model.

Twin Ram Baler (or Two Ram baler)
The twin ram press compacts the material to be baled against a solid wall in a fixed-size compartment which creates a totally uniform bale size. Each bale is then ejected perpendicularly and, as a result of PAAL’s patented telescopic ejection tunnel, the ejected bale is strapped whilst the next bale is being compacted.

Can Baler
The can baler crushes the aluminum or steel cans against a closed door. After the defined number of compaction strokes have been completed, the door opens and the completed pack is ejected lengthwise. The high specific pressing force means that the material crimps together to create a stable package without the need for any type of tying process.

Semi-Auto Baler
The material to be baled is compacted against a closed door. When the bale is complete, the tying process is completed manually before the bale is ejected by the operator at the control panel.
